WOODS AND WATER CONSIGNMENT GUIDELINES
Thank you for your interest in consigning with Woods and Water. Here are a few guidelines to help you understand consigning your items.
~ Clothing must be in “like new” condition and current styles that are in demand/purchased in the last 2 years. There are exceptions when
consigning timeless pieces, vintage, fur, etc.
~ Items must be freshly laundered and wrinkle-free.
~ We accept clothing, shoes and accessories. All items must be
clean and free of stains, holes, fading, pilling, etc. All items must
be in good working order. Items with smoke, strong/offensive odor
or excessive pet hair will not be accepted.
~ The items we accept are driven by what sells and customer
preference as well as seasonality.
~ We generally price items 1/3-1/4 of retail. We look at retail prices
on the internet and factor in condition of item. Our top priority is
to keep our customers and consignors happy. Be sure if an
item requires a minimum amount you tell the store clerk. We aim
to keep our prices reasonable so be sure you can part with the item
before consigning it.
~ We price every item by hand, based on condition and popularity of
brand. You will receive 40% of the selling price.
~ We display your item(s) for 60 days. We may run promotions and
sales discounting merchandise by up to 50%. Some or all of your
accepted items may be included in these sales.
~ Please don't take offense if we find it necessary to say no to certain
items. Please understand that past and present experience as well as
customer demand/preference guide our decisions.
~ Please see attached list of brands we love to consign as well as brands
we don't accept.
~ Any items not sold after 60 days must be picked up within 7 days
or they become property of Woods and Water and will be donated.
~ We pay by check, to be picked up by consignor. We do not routinely
mail checks unless approved by a manager for a fee of $5.00.
Checks will expire 6 months after date written.
~ Woods and Water is not responsible for loss due to fire, theft,
flood or damage of any kind.
~ Finally, thank you for choosing us! We strive for outstanding
customer service for both our consignors and our in store customers.
